New Members
The International Qualifying Scheme (IQS) is the normal entry point for all new members wishing to join the ranks of ICSA's 45,000 members around the world. You would be considered a "Student" upon acceptance until you pass the appropriate Qualifying Exams, at which time you would be considered a Graduate and given the ICSAGrad designation. Full membership in ICSA is obtained after the approval of your application by the Admissions Committee. If you are residing in North America, you would be applying through the Canadian Division, also known as Chartered Secretaries Canada. To start the process of becoming a member, please download and complete the IQS Application:

For professionals who do not qualify or do not wish to take the qualifying exams for ICSA membership, you may still join Chartered Secretaries Canada through the Affiliate Group by completing the following application. Individuals in the Affiliate Group are members of the Canadian Division of ICSA (Chartered Secretaries Canada) and are not recognized as members of the international organization. As part of the Affiliate Group, you will receive all the benefits of Chartered Secretaries Canada (e.g., subscription to CGQ, member discounts to workshops, symposiums, networking events, conferences, available group insurance, etc.).
