The CGQ reserves the right to edit material for length and clarity. Articles written to promote products or services will not be accepted.

CSA's Proposed New Governance Regulations

The Canadian Securities Administrators have proposed fundamental changes to the current governance regulations (NP 58-201 and NI 58-101), and are suggesting a move from the current "comply-or-explain" guideline-based regime to a straight principles-based reporting scheme. In this two hour, interactive lunch 'n learn, you will have an opportunity to discuss the proposed changes with Fred Enns of Borden Ladner Gervais and Janis Riven, a leading independent governance consultant. Register now to contribute your views towards the governance community's response to CSA's proposal.
