Business Degree Holders
If you hold an Institute approved undergraduate or graduate degree in business administration, commerce, accounting, or management you will be required to complete:

1. Corporate Law
   
2. Corporate Secretarial Practice & Procedures
   
3. Corporate Governance
   
4. Corporate Administration

Business Degree Holders Application Form

Law Degree Holders
If you hold an Institute approved undergraduate or graduate law degree you will be required to complete

1. Corporate Secretarial Practice & Procedures
   
2. Corporate Governance
   
3. Corporate Administration
   
4. Corporate Financial Managment

Law Degree Holders Application Form

Business & Law Degree Holders
If you hold two degrees in both business and law you will be required to complete:

1. Corporate Secretarial Practice & Procedures
   
2. Corporate Governance
   
3. Corporate Administration
   
4. Corporate Law or Corporate Financial Managment

Holders of Other Degrees
Holders of other (non-related degrees) degrees will be required to complete:

1. Financial Accounting
   
2. Corporate Law
   
3. Corporate Administration
   
4. Corporate Financial Management
   
5. Corporate Governance
   
6. Corporate Secretarial Practice & Procedures

Management Accounting and Strategic & Operations Management are optional retirements. Individuals you should give careful consideration to the underpinning provided by these subjects to the other Professional Program modules that must be passed to achieve the ICSA qualification.

Holders of Other Degrees Application Form

Professional Accounting Qualification Holders
If you hold a professional accounting qualification, such as those listed below, may also register.

1. Members of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA)
   
2. Members of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada (CMA)
   
3. Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA)
   
4. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

If you hold such a qualification you will be required to complete:

1. Corporate Law
   
2. Corporate Secretarial Practice & Procedures
   
3. Corporate Governance
   
4. Corporate Administration

Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Members
ICSI members (when membership has been held for two years or more) will be required to complete:

1. Corporate Law
   
2. Corporate Secretarial Practice & Procedures
   
3. Corporate Governance
   
4. Corporate Administration

Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Members Application Form

College Diploma Holders
If you are a graduate from a two- or three-year college business program, from a post-secondary institution recognized by the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC) and/or approved by Chartered Secretaries Canada you may also qualify for admission. If admitted you will be required to complete:

1. Financial Accounting
   
2. Management Accounting
   
3. Strategic & Operations Management
   
4. Corporate Law
   
5. Corporate Secretarial Practice & Procedures
   
6. Corporate Governance
   
7. Corporate Administration
   
8. Corporate Financial Management

If you are a graduate from a two- or three-year college legal or law program, may also be eligible to register but must complete additional business courses in order to ensure they have the necessary underpinning to successfully complete the 8 Professional Program modules that must be passed to achieve the ICSA qualification.
