Member Benefits

Chartered Secretaries Canada
The ICSA is unique in the global business environment - it is the only organization to provide a professional program and designations for corporate secretaries and administrators recognized worldwide. All members join as students of the Institute and, after completing a program of study, become Associates of the Institute and receive the ACIS designation. More seasoned members may apply to become Fellows of the Institute, usually after 8 years of appropriate work experience, and receive the FCIS designation.

The following are some other benefits the Canadian Division offers to its global and Affiliate Group members:

Mortgage
Chartered Secretaries Canada has teamed up with David Benson & Associates Inc. (A Mortgage Intelligence Mortgage Broker) to offer its members access to a new and exciting Group Mortgage Program.  Members can potentially save themselves thousands of dollars!   A Mortgage Broker understands your mortgage needs, seeks out the best options for your situation, and guides you through the lending process.  A mortgage broker does not work for any individual institution or lender, but is independent, and has up-to-the-minute loan rates for a wide array of banks and other lending institutions.

This is a tax free, no cost, no obligation benefit program that is available to you.  Through this program you will have access to exclusive products, rewards and discounted interest rates.  You could benefit by potentially saving thousands of dollars over the term of your mortgage!  With over 40 years of combined business, financial services and mortgage expertise David Benson & his team have helped people obtain funds for commercial investments, home purchases/renewals, recreational properties, home renovations and debt consolidation.

Mortgage Intelligence (A GMAC Company) is the largest and fastest growing mortgage brokerage firm in Canada.  They can offer financing solutions from dozens of different sources including Canada's largest banks, insurance firms, pension funds, private lenders and more.  Even people with special credit or financing needs are almost certain to find a solution through Mortgage Intelligence.

For example, with Mortgage Intelligence’s iDeserve product self-employed people can obtain funding without income declaration or verification.  With excellent credit there is no need for tax returns or T4’s.  Now that’s simple! I would encourage you to consider this program; it costs nothing, but can make a world-of-difference if you are unaware of the services provided by a mortgage broker.  Additional information on the Group Program can be found by clicking here or by visiting http://www.mortgageintelligence.ca/
