Examinations

For each module you will be required to complete a three-hour examination. Examinations are generally held on the first Wednesday of May and November.

Examination details are emailed to you prior to the examination. These will show your code number (for use on the examination script - no name is to be used), the venue and invigilator for the examination and exam room regulations. Special sittings can only be arranged with permission from the Director of Education. Requests for a special sitting must be made prior to the examination date.

If you withdraw from a course no part of the fee will be returned. If you fail an examination, fail to sit an examination, or withdraw from an examination after the closing date, you will not be entitled to a refund and will be required to pay a re-sit fee. However, if you are unable to sit an examination due to illness, you may be permitted to postpone your examination(s) until the next sitting at no additional cost, on production of a medical certificate.

You must arrive at the examination venue on time. No extension of time is permitted if you arrive late
