Eligibility

To qualify for the right to use the P.Adm designation, candidates must satisfy the following criteria and provide acceptable supporting evidence as outlined on the Application for Designation that they:

• Are currently working and have a minimum if 3 years experience as an administrative practitioner in an appropriate professional position.

• Can demonstrate skill and knowledge in the following areas of competency
  • Corporate Operations
  • Legal
  • Finance and Budgeting
  • Communications
  • Management Support
  • General Management
• Have successfully completed a series of on-line knowledge assessments with a passing grade of 50%.

• Agree to abide by the Professional Administrators’ Code of Ethics.

To maintain the Professional Administrator designation, individuals are required to maintain their affiliation with Chartered Secretaries Canada as a Student, Graduate, Associate, Fellow or member of the Affiliate Group.
