David Newell BSc, LLB, FCIS, P.Adm. 

Mr. Newell is a lawyer with 19 years of experience, the last 8 of which have been as Corporate Secretary for the Law Society of British Columbia.  David manages the governance processes for a 31-member Board of Directors working in a highly regulated and high profile environment.  His experience with meeting management ranges from small committees to large multi-site, multi-media annual and special general meetings.  In addition, David has helped develop and implement benchmark practices in governance transparency and stakeholder communication, director education, and organizational performance evaluation in a non-profit context.
