Continuing Professional Development Workshops

Essentials of Corporate Secretarial Practices

This full-day workshop gives a bird’s eye view of the roles and responsibilities of a Corporate Secretary of the 21st century. ICSA has developed this workshop to promote Corporate Secretaries’ good judgment and due diligence within the industry. This workshop will provide an overview of the ‘ins and outs’ of Corporate Procedures. The workshop will boost the confidence of the novice Corporate Secretary and will provide seasoned Secretaries the opportunity to refresh their secretarial know-how. References to the Canadian Corporate Secretaries Guide will be made throughout this workshop. Regular registration fee includes a copy of Chartered Secretaries Canada’s Corporate Secretarial Practice and Procedure Study Guide, which highlights relevant sections of the Canadian Corporate Secretaries Guide. IQS Student registrants would have received a copy of the Corporate Secretarial Practice and Procedure Study Guide upon registration for the IQS course and exam.
