Essentials of Corporate Governance

The aim of this full-day workshop is to introduce the knowledge and key skills necessary for an individual to act as chief adviser to the Board on best practice in corporate governance, and as the catalyst for their systematic application in the major global forms of organization. Corporate Governance has emerged on the global agenda in pursuit of proper and efficient practices in the administration of the business entity. ICSA, as a forerunner in Corporate Governance issues, is offering this workshop to strengthen the knowledge of today’s corporate secretaries, in-house counsel, risk managers, internal auditors and others involved in the governance of their organizations.  The registration fee includes a copy of Chartered Secretaries Canada’s Corporate Governance Study Guide. IQS student registrants would have already received a copy of the Corporate Governance Study Guide upon their registration for the Corporate Governance module.

Members of professional associations, please note that this workshop may fall under eligibility requirements for your Continuous Professional Learning and Development (CPLD). Please see your association website for details.
