Chartered Secretaries Canada is the Canadian Division of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), the only organization to provide corporate secretaries and administrators a globally recognized professional program (the International Qualifying Scheme) and designations (ACIS and FCIS). A network of 45,000 members plus 28,000 students in over 70 countries hold, or are working towards holding, the internationally recognized ACIS and FCIS post-nominals. Employers that hire an ICSA graduate have on their management teams the best the world has to offer.

- travel policies
- corporate giving policies
- costs associated with establishing a Corporate Secretary's office
Only members may make a request for assistance, but advice by members is available in the public area.

Calgary Forum registrations now open!
Registration is now available for the upcoming Forum on June 13 in Calgary! The topic is Governance as a Driver of Organizational Success. Directors’ Education and Accreditation Program (DEAP)
Earn the Acc.Dir. designation to demonstrate you have the qualities and competencies to be an effective board member. This program is affordable (starting from $3000 for members - compare this to similar non-accredited programs from other major institutions that start from $14,500). There is still time to register for the next session on June 11-13 in Calgary. The accessible time frame is made possible by pre-reading study materials prior to participating in the intensive three-day program. Registrations are limited to ensure active group participation. Toronto Symposium
We are currently planning a December Toronto Symposium on Risk, Uncertainty and Effective Governance. Submit an abstract of your presentation for consideration by May 30. In particular, we are looking for presenters who have assisted their organizations in governing through a period of uncertainty, faced risk and developed successful approaches, as well as presenters that excel at identifying and evaluating risks.
